DozeAlert is a project that I completed with two others for my Human Computer Interaction course. Our goal was to track drowsiness by using an Open Source Brain-Computing Interface. View our project here!
Waldo is a personal project that is also mobile-friendly. It is an app that takes information from the public and tells the number of open public study spots on the University of Rochester campus. This project was delivered in a week and is only a prototype. I am continually working on improving it. It is programmed using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Python, and SQLite. Try Waldo here!
CRUDList is a mobile-friendly web app that connects students with services that other students can offer. I was the project manager of a group of three. The project was started in the end of October - early December '15. It is programmed using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, Python, and SQLite.Try CRUDList here!
This Java project maps the University of Rochester, Monroe County, and New York State, provided route number and weights. It finds the shortest distance on campus using Dijkstra's algorithm. Download the mapping project here!
In Shopping: An Infinite Loop, I investigate more into the mysteries of businesses. I was trained in techniques to be used for brick-and-mortar stores by American Eagle Outfitters, but I wanted to know more about online stores and how marketing plays a role in persuasion. I analyzed three distinctive characteristics in shopping: spontaneity, perception, and power. Read my research essay here!
This Java project defines rational and complex numbers and their legal operations. It was created because Java does not have its own definitions of these types of numbers. Download the Rational & Complex Numbers project here!
These are some of the articles that I have written for Hawaii Baptist Academy's Eagle Eye newspaper. Having minimal experience in Adobe products, except for Adobe Photoshop, I quickly adapted to both Adobe Bridge for image consolidation and Adobe Indesign for styling the newspaper due for print. Writing for the newspaper has allowed me to gain new perspectives and to better understand the people whom I interviewed. Click here to read about our Midweek awards.
